I help courage thrive in the arts and culture sector.
You're doing some of the most important work in your community, and you're probably doing it without enough support. I've been there — as an artist, as an ED, as a board member. I know what it costs, and I know what it needs. I build infrastructure to support courageous work is rarely there when you need it.
I started this practice so I could choose who I work with. I choose people doing courageous work in the cultural sector. If that's you, I know I can help.
Services
Capacity Building
& Program Development
I collaborate with organizations to design and launch innovative programs that align with your mission, engage your community, and drive measurable impact. Navigating a leadership transition? I also offer Interim Leadership Services to provide stability and continuity during these critical periods.
Fractional Fundraising & Development
You're the executive director, the grant writer, and the donor relations department — all at once. You know there's funding you're not reaching, and a grants calendar that's running you instead of the other way around.
As your fractional development partner, I work as an embedded part of your team on an ongoing basis — managing your grants calendar, writing and editing proposals, researching new funding opportunities, building donor stewardship workflows, and helping you think strategically about your revenue mix over time.
This isn't a one-time grant write. It's consistent support so your fundraising actually builds momentum instead of starting from scratch every cycle.
1x1 Support for Artists and Creatives
As a lifelong artist and creator with a career in performance, curation, makerspace/studio management, arts administration, and production, I can help artists and creatives working in a variety of modalities bring their creative ideas to life.

About
Hi, I'm Jess. I help people make the world they imagine through transformative experiences in creative community.
Born and raised outside of Boston, MA, USA, I am the product of generations of laborers and craftspeople - people who build things. I have dedicated my professional career to supporting shared infrastructure for artists, creatives, and engineers working for a better world. This has included coordinating shared tools workspace, funding, mentorship, and technical support in service of collective ownership and radical belonging.
